At Kangwon Land casino, you can enjoy the pleasure of game as the only casino that can be used by both local citizens and foreigners. It boasts of the biggest size in Korea with 132 table games and 960 slot machines.

Ticket Purchase

Tickets should be purchased in the front desk. Admission fees are taxed as follows pursuant to the individual consumption tax law: individual consumption tax of 3,500 won, education tax of 1,050 won, and surtax of 450 won.

Kangwon Land requires patrons to present identity cards to restrict the admission of minors (20 years old, based on birthday), local residents, and persons whose access is restricted. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Customers with passport of expatriate (Permanent Residence) for foreigners and citizens of South Korea are granted admission pursuant to the Emigration Act. Please present your passport as proof (driver’s license not accepted).

Admission Refusal

When you buy your ticket, if you do not present your identity card, you are denied admission as per our regulations. Therefore, make sure you have your ID card with you.

For the identity card of local citizens, ID card and driver’s license are accepted. Passport and other identity cards are not accepted since we cannot check residence using them.(resident registration certificate accepted)

Admission restricted - Under 20 years old / local residents / person whose access is restricted / violator of safety management rules

For smooth maintenance of order in the casino house, intoxicated persons are denied admission as per Articles 6 -1 and 3 of the admission management rules. Thank you for your understanding.

Storage

For smooth game progress and protection of customers and facilities, electronic products and metal products (including umbrella) in the casino house are not allowed. Please deposit those in the storage at the front desk of the casino and get a claim tag. You can carry in your camera after putting it in a pack and sealing the envelope. Food and beverage are prohibited. Thank you for your understanding.

Admission to the Casino

You can enter the game hall after showing your ticket and identity card to the security guard and going through the security device. If you are carrying metal products, the alarm will sound. Please ask for the help of the security guard in advance.

ARS Admission Reservation Information

We run the ARS admission reservation system to minimize crowdedness during the casino opening time. We encourage our patrons to use the system. Customers whose ARS applications have not been approved or received can enter only after the approved customers have entered. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

ARS Reservation Method

A day before entry, call 033)590 – 7400 (ARS) and press your resident registration number and mobile phone number based on the voice instruction. You will then get your reservation number. For foreigners, please call 1588-7789 (extension #4).

ARS Entry Number Check

- Person with mobile phone : 10 minutes (18:10 ~ 18:30) after the closing of reservation, the entry number is sent via mobile phone text message service (from no. 1 to no. 2,000).
   Note, however, that the receipt of the text message can be delayed depending on the situation.
- Person without mobile phone : Check approval by calling 033)590-7400.

Ticket selling time

You can buy your ticket starting from 06:11 on the desired entry day.
. If you buy your ticket after 10:00, however, you will have difficulty entering with your entry number.

Admission to the Casino

Customers who obtained approval in ARS: Enter the casino in order of number starting at 10:00.
Customers whose applications have not been received in ARS and other customers: Receive entry number starting from 2001 and buy ticket starting at 06:11.

Seat reservation center information

We at Kangwon Land run the seat reservation center to prevent the cornering and hoarding of table game seats and provide a smooth game environment. We encourage our patrons to use it.

Reservation Method

After entering the casino, visit the seat reservation center (next to Shinhan Bank in the casino house) and show your ticket and identity card. You can then select the game and limit you want.

Seat assignment and Paging customers

If there is vacancy in the game table you booked, seating information will be sent to you via text message in order of reservation.

Taking seats

If you are assigned to a seat, move to the tables instructed via text message and for identification (by showing the resort card or identity card and ticket). Afterward, please take your seat.

Running additional booths

We run extra booths in the morning when there are many customers with reservations (10:00 ~ 12:00). This can change the place you reserved depending on the entry number. Please contact the seat reservation center in advance if you are booked for morning time.
